Flood Watch Reporting

Conservation Authorities work to protect people and property from flooding.  Flooding is the leading cause of public emergency in Ontario, and Conservation Authories are the first line of defence in notification and reducing the impacts of flooding.

Help us keep communities safe by reporting high water conditions as you see them!

If you believe there is life threatening, imminent danger, please call 911 prior to submitting information.

If you are unable to use this form, you can email your report to: floodwatch@svca.on.ca
Or call: 519-369-8247

Do you see an SVCA Flood Watch sign? If yes, select the location code:

Allowed extensions pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, jpg, jpeg, gif, png, tif

If possible, we want to know such things as:

  • is the water unusually high
  • has there been rapid change
  • is the water about to overflow, or is it already overflowing
  • are there buildings nearby
  • is the water close to the road
